About Our Shoes
Shoofly Shoes® are hand-painted and embellished in the USA. Our designs are applied to imported shoe blanks.
Our shoes are hand-painted using nontoxic fabric paints. The shoes are made of cotton canvas uppers and man-made soles. Our embellished shoes have various fabrics, trims, buttons, beads, etc. applied to them, and all elements are securely hand-stitched to the body of the shoes.
Shoe Care Instructions:
- Shoe soles are hand washable with mild detergent and water.
- Do not machine wash — painted surfaces may fade.
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not machine dry. Air dry out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
- Do not keep shoes with painted surfaces in direct sunlight for an extended period of time.
Our shoes are not treated with any waterproofing or stain protective products. If you choose to use a waterproofing or other protective product on our Shoofly Shoes, you do so at your own risk. We suggest that you choose a product that is formulated to be used specifically for shoes, and to carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions for application.
Babies and toddlers love to look at their Shoofly Shoes while they are on their feet. However, we do not recommend that you allow your child to play with the shoes when they are not wearing them, as the shoes are not a toy.
